The Bourbon Trail

95% of the world’s Bourbon is produced in Kentucky, and an estimated 800,000 tourists visit the popular area every year to discover more from behind the scenes of their favourite drop.

A road trip style experience was established by the Kentucky Distillers’ Association in 1999 to give visitors an easy way to explore the area.  The Kentucky Bourbon Trail and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour have drawn more than 2.5 million visitors from all 50 states and 25 countries in the last five years and have become leading educational and tourism attractions. To be represented on the map, the distillery must be a member of the Distillers’ Association, which also works to educate visitors and tourism of the area.

It is the visitor's choice to either stop at a couple of distilleries, or all 37 listed on the provided maps.
